Winstanley Hall Development

Winstanley Hall Development is a heritage-led regeneration proposal for Winstanley, Wigan. Led by Kingswood Homes, the project aims to restore and repurpose the Grade II* listed Winstanley Hall, a historic landmark dating back to 1573, after more than 25 years of neglect.

The proposal includes the restoration and conversion of the hall into 36 apartments, restoration of surrounding outbuildings for community use, and the creation of 396 new one- to five-bedroom homes. The wider masterplan includes public access to parts of the parkland, a heritage centre, village green, play areas, community orchard, green corridors, pedestrian and cycle links, sustainable drainage and landscaped open space.
